Details of Services Offered

Pet Sitting
Cats and other small pets - $15 per visit.
Dogs - $20 per visit.
Each additional pet is $2.50 per visit.

This 20-30-minute visit includes:
Giving fresh food and water daily, cleaning of the litter box(es) and cleaning up of other pet messes, along with plenty of TLC. Service may also include watering plants, bringing in mail, newspapers and flyers depending on frequency. Morning visits typically between 9:00 am and noon. Evening visits are between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Pet sitting also includes photos emailed to you (if requested). 

Baths
$25 (cat or dog under 40 lbs), $30 for each dog over 40 lbs)

Using your bathtub, I provide non-medicated shampoos as well as drying towels. I can also use medicated shampoos as recommended, and provided by you or your vet. This service also includes flea baths.

De-Matting (Shaving)
$30 per pet

For dogs and cats with knots or mattes in their fur, or simply pets needing a shave down for the hot weather. Please at this moment we are not equipped for grooming.

Nail Trims
$20 (each additional pet in home $10)

All pets. Includes birds and exotics as required. Some assistance from owner to hold the pet may be needed depending on the pets mood.

Pet Taxi
$25 for a round trip within 25 km of Barrhaven.
$5 per additional pet.

Any pets needing a ride to the vet, or just a run to grandma’s house. For vet visits I can wait through the appointment and return you home. I can also pick up and deliver food and medications from your vet when authorized to do so.

Sample Collection
$25 within 25 km of K2J 5M3 (as per Google Maps).

For owners who are uncomfortable or unable to collect urine or fecal samples for testing by the clinic, I will collect the sample and deliver it to the clinic on your behalf within 25 km.

Administration of Medications or Services (as prescribed by your vet)
$15 per visit, $5 per additional pet.

For owners who are uncomfortable or unable to administer medications such as insulin shots, oral antibiotics, subcutaneous fluid therapy, ear cleanings/flushing, other services as requested.

Additional Travel Fees

A small fee for fuel and time is added for clients more than 15 km from K2J 5M3 (Barrhaven). This fee is negotiable and may change for repeat or daily services vs. a single visit.

• 15-30 km $5

Please note that although we use a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for the majority of our services, we are NOT veterinarians and are prohibited by law from diagnosing medical conditions in your pets and from dispensing medications.

We do not position ourselves apart from the veterinary industry. Rather we work in conjunction with local vets to provide quality care for your pets at home. Our services typically appeal to owners who are unable to get to the vet for some routine procedures, or for procedures recommended by your vet that owners are unable to perform.
